Verusaturk is 51% shareholder at Pamukova Elektrik Uretim A.Ş. which has 19.5% stake in Enda Enerji Holding A.Ş. which is one of the most important companies in the field of renewable energy production in Turkey.
The total renewable installed power of 180.18 MW of 10 power plants included in Enda, founded in 1993 with a paid capital of TL 345,477,486 and operated with an environmentally friendly professional management approach is composed of 5 WPPs (Germiyan, Urla, Alaçatı, Mordoğan, Yaylaköy) with an installed power of 68.6 MW, 4 HEPPs (Çaygören, Akçay, Eğlence-1 and Eğlence-2) with an installed power of 104 MW and 1 GPP (Tuzla) with an installed power of 7.5 MW.
Enda sells 99% of the electricity it generates through 100% renewable energy resources under YEKDEM.
Enda takes into account the environmental and social impacts of its activities and carefully carries out its efforts to minimize possible risks. In this direction, it carries out afforestation works in all energy facilities it operates.
With its sensitivity to waste management, it aims to prevent environmental pollution and protect natural resources. Within the scope of the regulation published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, waste management is carried out by authorized institutions, and recycling and disposal of waste is ensured.
Moreover, in all renewable energy power plants and projects on the reduction of carbon emissions Volunteer Carbon Market certificate applications have been made, Tuzla Geothermal Power Plant which got the first Gold Standard Certificate in Turkey, has obtained Volunteer Carbon Emissions Reduction Certificate for a total of 79,735 tons from 2010 up to now.
Implementing effective policies and practices in quality management, occupational health and safety issues, Enda also takes the necessary care to document these systems and reports regularly. Enda has ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and ISO 10002 integrated management system certificates.
